Beethoven in
The mini-MD

Beethoven serves as a key figure in the mini-MD, including his music as well as, of course, his medical circumstances. Beethoven's deafness is a matter of legend and indeed he recognized it as something unique and implored the medical profession, both during his time and for the future, to find a cause for his condition. Indeed, that is what we do during the mini-MD placing Beethoven as one of our key patients during our journey through the world of medicine. During that journey we will actually listen to the entirety of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which was composed at the end of his life when he was completely deaf.
